Happy #FriarFriday! Today we introduce you to Fr. Peter Ronald S. Eugenio! Br. Peter has been a friar for 37 years! He knew he wanted to join the Brotherhood during his elementary years, but joined the Capuchins in 1978. He is from the Philippines and Bahrain but now resides at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Burlingame, CA. His role in the parish is to be a simple friar doing different parish tasks while being a true brother to all.
Br. Peter has 3 favorite times of day: eating, sleeping and praying time. I think we can all relate to this!!
When he isn’t eating, sleeping or praying, Br. Peter can be found practicing his photography skills, singing and playing a multitude of instruments, including the drums and guitar.

We asked Br. Peter what his favorite prayer is and he told us that it is the Prayer of Abandonment – Charles de Foucauld. Please pray this with us today alongside our Brother:
Father,
I abandon myself into your hands;
do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me,
and in all your creatures –
I wish no more than this, O Lord.
Into your hands I commend my soul:
I offer it to you with all the love of my heart,
for I love you, Lord, and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
for you are my Father.
Charles de Foucauld
