This past week, devastating fires have swept through Los Angeles, destroying over 10,000 structures and forcing countless families to flee their homes and businesses. Among those affected were our Capuchin friars, who evacuated St. Francis High School in La Cañada due to safety concerns. Thankfully, all friars are safe and have already begun contributing to relief efforts.
Capuchins Supporting Relief Efforts
In the wake of the disaster, the Capuchins are working tirelessly to serve those in need. From the Capuchin Food Truck, they are providing meals and essential supplies to displaced families and brave first responders. Partnering with local ministries and shelters, they are ministering to those affected by this terrible crisis.
The students and families of St. Francis High School have also stepped up, joining the Capuchins in their mission to bring relief and comfort during this challenging time.
