Meet Postulant Isaiah Joseph
Before entering postulancy with the Capuchin Franciscans, Isaiah Joseph split his time between two very different worlds. At night, he worked as a bouncer at a nightclub. By day, he studied philosophy at City College of San Francisco. Both experiences shaped the person he is today — compassionate, calm under pressure, and grounded in his interactions with others.
Isaiah, 21, is from San Francisco and describes himself as compassionate, chill, and friendly. He enjoys running, listening to old school music, and tasting different whiskeys.
When he learned more about the Capuchin way of life, Isaiah was drawn to their emphasis on austerity and active contemplation. Now in postulancy, he is eager to grow spiritually alongside brothers who share his desire to live for Christ.
Please join us in praying for Isaiah and the five other postulants beginning their formation. To learn more about discerning with the Capuchin Franciscans, click here.
